Mission

The mission of the Urban League movement is to enable underserved residents to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.

History

Founded in 1967 as an affiliate of the National Urban League, the Urban League of Alabama is a community based organization dedicated to empowering communities and changing lives in the areas of education, jobs, housing, and health.
