TARGETED WORKFORCE TRAINING

The Urban League’s Workforce Development Program equips individuals with the skills, credentials, and connections needed to secure and sustain meaningful employment. Through industry-aligned training, career readiness workshops, and job placement services, the program prepares participants for high-demand careers in sectors such as healthcare, construction, information technology, and advanced manufacturing.

Our initiatives aim to address community violence through advocacy, awareness, and strategic partnerships. We work towards creating safer and more supportive communities for all Alabama residents.

SAVE OUR SONS (SOS)

The Save Our Sons (SOS) program is committed to empowering economically disadvantaged men in the St. Louis region by equipping them with the tools, resources, and support needed to secure stable, well-paying employment. SOS offers a comprehensive approach to workforce development, including job readiness training, resume building, interview preparation, and access to a network of employers eager to provide opportunities for career advancement.

COMMUNITY SERVICE AND OUTREACH

From helping to feed our neighbors to community clean up days.  The Urban League community service program deploys volunteers in serving our communities. We administer a mobile food pantry to assist residents who face transportation barriers
